January 4, 2025
WASHINGTON D.C. – Today, Congressman Marlin Stutzman (IN-03) in his first action since returning to Washington, cast his vote for Speaker Mike Johnson (LA-04) to keep his position for the 119th Congress. Rep. Stutzman released the following statement after the vote:
“The budget in Washington is out of balance, the debt has run to $35 trillion, and we need to make sure the American house is in fiscal order so we can continue to be a strong nation,” said Rep. Stutzman.
“It’s a new day in America after Speaker Johnson and President Trump’s reelection, Republicans have come together to set the stage to get our country back on track. Now more than ever our country needs hope. Today, we are one step closer to it being restored.”
