Congressman Stutzman Stands with General Umbarger

General’s dedication to Hoosier servicemembers is obvious

Fort Wayne, IN –Today, Congressman Marlin Stutzman (IN-03) issued the following statement in support of Indiana Adjutant General Martin Umbarger.
 
“I have worked closely with General Umbarger and, like many Hoosiers, am grateful for his tireless efforts on behalf of our state and nation,” said Stutzman. “General Umbarger’s patriotism and sense of duty are unmatched. His heart for our men and women in uniform is obvious and exactly why I know he is the right leader for Indiana’s National Guard.”
 
Congressman Stutzman and Major General Umbarger have worked together to defend the 122nd Fighter Wing in Fort Wayne.

Congressman Stutzman represents the 3rd Congressional District of Indiana and serves on the House Committee on Agriculture, the House Committee on the Budget and the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity. Indiana’s 3rd District contains all of DeKalb, Kosciusko, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley counties, as well as parts of Allen and Elkhart counties.
