Stutzman Remembers Fallen Warriors on Memorial Day

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Marlin Stutzman (IN-03) issued the following statement in observance of Memorial Day.
 
“For over two hundred years, Americans with steel nerves and unwavering devotion have secured our freedoms. This weekend, we will remember the sacrifice of those who gave their lives to defend our country and our way of life. I know that Hoosiers understand that gratitude and patriotism are not heirlooms we dust-off for special occasions. They are enduring values that inform our daily lives. So, after a Monday with our friends and families, we carry our gratitude into Tuesday and each day we enjoy the liberty for which so many gave their lives.”

Congressman Stutzman represents the 3rd Congressional District of Indiana and serves on the House Committee on Agriculture, the House Committee on the Budget and the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity. Indiana’s 3rd District contains all of DeKalb, Kosciusko, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley counties, as well as parts of Allen and Elkhart counties.
